Sadly, almost everything we do results in CO2 emissions. We all love our holidays, our cars and our homes. Some of us even love our Businesses! However, we cannot enjoy any of these things on a dead planet.
Correct Carbon helps you to tackle climate change.
We help you to calculate your CO2 emissions, and then introduce you to the growing number of energy saving choices available - which can save money as well as CO2.
We offer a choice of Carbon Offsetting projects which invest in accredited energy saving and reforestation projects, which in turn help balance your own emissions.
We can also help your Business realise the commercial and ethical benefits of reducing their emissions and offsetting, adding value to your profile, the community and your bottom line.
The good news is there are so many diverse ways of saving energy, and combating climate change, that Correct Carbon can help find the solutions which work best for you.
Every tonne we avoid emitting will reduce the risk of global warming getting worse. Whilst we can't stop the effects of emissions that have already taken place, we’re determined to concentrate on positively influencing the future.

Questions and Answers
1. Do your offsets result from specific projects?
Yes, full project details are given prior to purchase. We ensure all projects provide sustainable solutions to their local communities, and avoid projects related to large Industry.
Currently personal offset providers have no obligations to certify their projects. Many do not detail where money’s are going.
We are committed to provide a choice of accredited projects, with a clear explanation of each project, and regular feedback about how each project is progressing. Correct Carbon are working to the latest Government guidelines to provide clarity within the industry.
2. How do you evaluate the effectiveness of your projects?
All projects are audited by either the UNFCCC (CDM) mechanism, the World Bank or the Forest Stewardship Council.
3. Do you sell offsets that will happen in the future? How long into the future and can you explain how this works?
Our energy projects provide immediate carbon savings which balance your CO2 emissions. Afforestation projects absorb CO2 over the lifetime of the tree so the benefits take longer, however we guarantee that the trees and surrounding ecologies will be tendered throughout the life of the tree, and that land will never be used for other purposes.
4. Can you demonstrate that your offsets are not sold to multiple buyers?
EU CDM credits once bought from the market are cancelled, we ensure all other carbon credits we buy are not sold elsewhere.

We believe passionately in targeting climate change, ecology and saving energy. We offer a correct and clear way to combat climate change, save energy, and balance your remaining emissions. 9. What is your background?
Ed Walker - Founder
My background is in Architecture with a wide experience of energy saving sustainable building - and some large scale Carbon intensive buildings that I am not very proud about! I’ve never worked as a full time environmentalist, I don’t own a rainbow jumper and I don’t want you to vote me in, but I’ve always supported causes which I feel can make a difference.
As a building designer, skier, and lover of the coast and countryside, I have a vested interest in keeping this planet great. As a parent I would hate the fact that my children or their chlidren might not be able to experience the world in the way I have. Forming Correct Carbon is the most powerful way I can help preserve our natural inheritance.
